That moment....

........ when you've done all your chores, everyone is content with what they are doing and you take the opportunity to sit down in the peace and quiet with a hot mug of tea.  You open your bag, you feel like a child opening your Christmas stocking, and with delight pull out a stack of completed little Granny Squares. You pick up your hook, choose your yarn and set to quietly creating the next little square of joy.  That's the moment and it makes me very happy....... very happy indeed.

  7. Hooray! You are a proper hookster now! :-) That feeling can become quite addictive, my friend, but in the loveliest of ways... Your squares are a beautiful sight to behold, your crochet is so lovely, I can't quite believe you're a bit of a newbie! I wonder what you will choose to hook up next...Chrissie xxx

  17. I know that moment too! Unfortunately, I just get to that moment and the dog wants out, or my son needs to show me something, or my husband hollers for an extra hand. I'm glad you've had that moment enough times to make such beautiful granny squares ;) Wendy x

  18. Oh I adore those moments too! Love your squares - my granny project is on hold at the moment, I stupidly went and bought the wrong yarn for the job. Your yarn looks lovely - is it cotton? Thanks for your lovely comments about my mandalas - you should definitely give them a whirl if you have any of that stash left over.
